Set in splendid isolation with a stunning view of the Indian Himalayas, Home Stay Binsar is a family run enterprise, consisting of 2 lodges .

We serve organic, vegetarian food grown in our own kitchen garden.

Accommodation is on full board basis, and there are tea and coffee making facilities in the lodges. Guests can choose to have their meals in the lodges or in the main house with the family.

We have our own taxi service to collect you from the railhead at Kathgodam.

Our Jeep with experienced driver is the ideal way to travel along the twisting mountaineous roads. You can sit back and watch the spectacular scenery unfold. Trips to local beauty spots such as Binsar Zero Point and other places of interest such as the ancient temple complex at Jageshwar can be arranged.

Our experienced guides available for full and half day guiding, with extensive knowledge of local bird and wildlife, flora and fauna.

Come for meditation, yoga, and Kumaoni cooking classes, or just relax in the wonderful surroundings.

Holidays can be tailored to your individual requirements.

Lodge -1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom with electric shower. Sleeps 6. In addition there is a smaller lodge suitable for a couple wanting more basic accommodation.

Animal Sighting & Birds Watching Activity

Our location is inside Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary and it's 2km away from the main road inside the sanctuary which is an easy walk.

This village is well spread out.currently 11 families lives here.

This area known for its birds,animals, and even butterflies.

More then 230 species of birds including migratory ones are recorded here.

You may be lucky enough to spot the elusive Leopard, and also other local wildlife such as Barking Deer, Mountain Goats, Pine Martin, Foxes and Porcupines. The wide range of birds include Minivets, Eagles and Laughing Thrush.

Local Community Meeting

Spending time with the local community is also a great immersive experience, and you just can't miss the local Kumaoni food.

Binsar is one of the most famous picturesque place in the Kumaon.

The main attraction of Binsar is the picturesque view of the Himalayan mountain range ,which is stretched in 300 Kms.

Binsar is surrounded by the alpine flora ,ferns ,hanging moss and species of wild flowers as well as the forest where oak and rhododendron are found everywhere.
